Teriyaki Salmon
This became a staple mid-week supper at uni and brings back many a fond memory. It is very easy to rustle up, yet feels like you have made a big effort. I have adapted and tweaked the recipe a little but it really is a rough guide as it is best suited to your individual tastes.
Method
Mix the ingredients together, taste and adjust.
Leave the salmon to marinate for at least 30 minutes, but ideally longer if you have the time.
Serve with garlicky greens.
Ingredients
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp mirin
2 garlic cloves, crushed
A large thumb of ginger, grated
1/2 tsp muscavado sugar (to taste)
Zest of 2 limes
Juice of 1 lime
